Architecture

Two-Layer Model

The Ethra architecture operates as a modular two-layer system:

  • SHIP Ecosystem Layer: staking, governance, and digital participation mechanisms

  • RWA Investment Layer: issuance and lifecycle management of vessel-backed investment vehicles

The modular separation:

  • Clarifies user rights

  • Reduces regulatory ambiguity

  • Preserves compliance integrity

  • Enables scalable ecosystem development

Core Components

The system is composed of the following building blocks.

Digital ecosystem layer

  • SHIP token contract

  • Staking contract(s) managing lock-ups and reward distribution

  • Governance module defining proposal and voting mechanics

  • Access control layer used for VIP and ecosystem privileges

  • Treasury wallets (multisignature) used for operational spending and programmed actions such as buybacks and burns

RWA investment layer

  • RWA issuance and lifecycle managed by established platforms

  • Investor onboarding and eligibility processes handled by the platforms

  • Asset representation and ownership records maintained according to the platforms’ frameworks

  • Distribution and reporting mechanisms for investor-facing cash flows, subject to platforms rules and product documentation

On-Chain and Off-Chain Boundaries

On-chain components are used where public verifiability is valuable and where execution can be deterministic. This includes token balances, staking positions, vote outcomes, and token supply actions such as burns.

Off-chain components remain explicit wherever real-world operations, contractual arrangements, or regulated processes are involved. Vessel ownership, chartering operations, accounting, and investor eligibility checks are handled outside the blockchain environment, with the RWA platform providing the investment-grade wrapper for tokenized participation.
