Fee discounts

The Fee Discount Framework is a transparent, parameterized mechanism through which SHIP token holders may receive reductions on protocol-level fees. Discounts apply exclusively to protocol charges (such as primary issuance fees, subscription or access fees, or designated service fees) and do not alter vessel-level SPV expenses, charter economics, or fiduciary cost structures.

Fee Discount parameters are encoded as configurable governance variables and may be amended only through the formal governance lifecycle (proposal, quorum, vote, timelock, execution). Distribution may occur automatically via smart contract allocation modules or through structured incentive disbursement mechanisms integrated with subscription or redemption workflows.

All active Fee Discount programs shall be disclosed with clear eligibility criteria, allocation methodology, and maximum budget exposure.

Fee Scope: Discounts apply only to protocol-level charges and do not affect underlying vessel SPV expenses or charter economics.
